Black Bar Straightening Machine


A machine used in rolling mills to level the surface of sheet steel. Straightening machines are divided into roll-type machines, which are the most common type, and stretching machines.
Roll-type straightening machines are designed for straightening thin and thick sheets in either the cold or hot states; stretching machines are designed mainly for cold straightening of thin sheets (steel and nonferrous metals) of which stringent quality requirements are made.

     
 

BHAMBRA – PEELING MACHINE – (20mm to 75 mm Capacity )


The bar to be peeled is supported between an entry guide and steady rollers. The cutting tool is mounted in a cutter head which in turn is fixed on a revolving spindle. The bar to be turned in moved by feed rollers against the revolving cutter head.
The Head Stock is a rigid casting containing a revolving main spindle driven through ‘V’ belts and shifting gears from the main motor. A cutter head is fixed to the main spindle. The head is designed to hold a cutting tool and also rollers for polishing the work. The spindle speeds can be varied by means of changed gears.

CHURCHILL – CENTRE LESS GRINDING MACHINE - (20mm to 75 mm Capacity )


Centerless grinding is a machining process that uses abrasive cutting to remove material from a workpiece. Centerless grinding differs from centered grinding operations in that no spindle or fixture is used to locate and secure the workpiece; the workpiece is secured between two rotary grinding wheels, and the speed of their rotation relative to each other determines the rate at which material is removed from the workpiece. Centerless grinding is typically used over more conventional grinding processes for operations where many parts must be processed in a short time.

     
 

CINCINATTI – CENTRE LESS GRINDING MACHINE – (20mm to 75 mm Capacity )


In centerless grinding, the workpiece is held between two grinding wheels, rotating in the same direction at different speeds, and a workholding platform. One wheel, known as the grinding wheel (stationary wheel), is on a fixed axis and rotates such that the force applied to the workpiece is directed downward, against the workholding platform. This wheel usually performs the grinding action by having a higher linear speed than the workpiece at the point of contact. The other wheel, known as the regulating wheel (moving wheel in the diagram), is movable.

     
 

BLACK BARS & END CUTTING BANDSAW MACHINE


A bandsaw is a power tool which uses a blade consisting of a continuous band of metal with teeth along one edge to cut various workpieces. The band usually rides on two wheels rotating in the same plane, although some bandsaws may have three or four wheels. Bandsawing produces uniform cutting action as a result of an evenly distributed tooth load. Bandsaws are used for woodworking, metalworking, or for cutting a variety of other materials, and are particularly useful for cutting irregular or curved shapes, but can also be used to produce straight cuts.

     
 

MAGNETIC CRACK DETECTION MACHINE


Magnetic crack detectors are used for magnetic particle inspection. These machines can detect sub surface or surface discontinuity in materials like cobalt, iron, and nickel. It is used to evaluate the properties of a material without destroying it known as NDT test. It works like this the material or component to be tested is magnetised by making it the core of a coil. The coil is then passed through a high voltage current or by simply passing the current through the material. If there are any defects on the material it gets visible when the component is sprayed my magnetic particles.
